Historic County Council Vote on Downtown Columbia Plan

February 1, 2010 - Today the Howard County council voted unanimously to approve CB-58 and CB-59, the bills providing the framework for the development of downtown Columbia by GGP, General Growth Properties.

Unfortunately our coverage does not include comments from opponents to the passage of these bills, as they did not stay through the end of the council session, or were unavailable to be interviewed. We interviewed several community members skeptical of this plan in a previous HoCoMoJo story.
