The Wedding Singer

Reservoir High School is about to put on their upcoming production of "The Wedding Singer". We want everyone to relive the 80’s (or just live it if you’re still in high school). This is the first time this musical has been performed in Howard County, and we're excited. Based on the Adam Sandler movie, this production is the largest one ever for Reservoir with more than seventy students in the cast. The students have been professionally choreographed, full sets constructed by a parent/contractor, and the kids are having a blast putting it altogether. The directors, Jessica Binder and Greg Knauf, have been putting in a lot of time with our kids to make this a great show. They put together this description for the show:

Reservoir High School ’s Theatre Arts Department is excited to present for the first time in Howard County ’s history the hit Broadway musical “The Wedding Singer” which was
nominated for 5 Tony Awards and 8 Drama Desk Awards. This highly energetic production,
based on the Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore film, is a romantic comedy
that’s like totally power-packed with enough 1980s pop culture references to
“take your breath away” and “keep you hangin’ on!”

The show features 70+ students—Reservoir’s biggest cast ever!—a live band and music
that will make you wanna party like it’s 1987! Productions are March 18^th, 19^th, 20^th @ 7pm, & matinees March 20^th & 21^st at 2pm. Tickets are $12 general admission and $8 students/seniors, with a special half-priced matinee on Saturday, March 21^st.
