Leadership Howard County Adds New Board Members for 2009-2010

Leadership Howard County is pleased to announce the addition of new members to its 2009-2010 Board of Directors. They are:

Beverley Francis, President & CEO, The Columbia Foundation
Jeffrey L. Marquina, Vice President- Property Management, Corporate Office Properties Trust
Jeffrey M. McCarron, Senior Vice President, The Columbia Bank
Michael A. Mobley, Executive Director, JREF (Jim Rouse Entrepreneurial Fund, Inc.)
Ron Nicodemus, Founder & President, Nicodemus Communications Group
Candace Dodson Reed, Community Liaison, Howard County Government
Robert L. Smith, Senior Vice President, Area Executive V, Branch Banking & Trust Company, Inc.,
In addition, Caroline Sherman, Business Development Manager, UHY Advisors Mid-Atlantic MD, Inc. will be joining the board as our general membership chair- 2009-2010
And Cindy Drummond, will be joining the board as the youth program chair for 2009-2011.

Our Board Chair Paul Gleichauf, Senior VP-Managed Care, Planning & Marketing, Howard County General Hospital, a member of Johns Hopkins Medicine will continue his second year leading the organization.

The mission of Leadership Howard County is to empower individuals to strengthen and transform our community. As of June 2009, over 900 graduates of the 3 programs have provided leaders committed to meet the challenges of community involvement.
