Buying the fixings for Thanksgiving dinner would have been a major hardship for Brenda Viens of Elkridge, a widow with only $200 a month income. But that task was made as easy as pie at the Community Action Council of Howard County’s Thanksgiving Turkey Distribution November 23, 2010 where Brenda was handed a turkey, cranberry sauce, fresh fruit and vegetables, canned vegetables, and a slew of other Thanksgiving meal trimmings free.…
