Our lake is dying.It is filling up with silt and debris from storm water run-off and is clogged with algae from too much fertilizer. It certainly has lost some of its value for controlling storm waters and its attractiveness for recreation. It has become too shallow for being a healthy habitat for many species and is also contributing to the collapse of the Chesapeake Bay fisheries. It’s time to act.So what’s to be done?
