Nora's is probably a great idea. They're owned by the same people who had the Aromi d'italia gelato place in the mall that is gone now sadly. They still sell their Italian cookies from a kiosk in the mall (or at least they did a couple months ago).…
I know we're all tired of it, but this is something I just had to get off my chest. And my porch. And my driveway. And my roof. And my mailbox. And my curb...I hope it gets you talking, and thinking.~Mike

Have you tried Nora Cafe in the Normandy Shopping Center on Rt. 40? It's a little out of the way but still in HoCo. Definitely worth the trip for VERY tasty coffee and really good breakfast, lunch and dinner food.
Really enjoyed listing to your podcast! I moved here from Massachusetts a year ago and I felt the exact same. I wish the GPS could help us see through the trees of the village centers so that we knew how close they really were. Hey and thanks for th…
Thanks so much for listening and the info! Wow. Java Grande is gone already? It had great signage off of Route 40 but that location was so-so. That's too bad.
I mentioned Riverside and do enjoy the coffee. I agree, much easier in and out than Paner…
Love the podcast about coffee in Howard County. Unfortunately, Java Grande on Rte 40 closed. The pottery shop down the row is going to move there, expand, and offer coffee.
Consider trying Riverside Coffee in Columbia or Sidamo at Maple Lawn in Ful…

I'm glad you mentioned breakfast sandwiches! So many places microwave processed eggs (per…

Brief Bio
Graduated Oakland Mills in 1981, UMBC in 1985. Standardized testing and guidance tools of the 1980s told me to stick with math and analysis - that pays the bills but doesn't exactly satisfy my soul. So I started a humor blog and restarted guitar lessons in 2006, joined an improv group in 2008 and have been making major and minor course corrections ever since.
