Columbia Pro Cantare Sings Brubeck at Jim Rouse Theatre for the Performing Arts

Choral and instrumental works of Dave Brubeck take center stage at Columbia Pro Cantare's May 5 concert. Accompanied by the Eric Mintel Quartet (EMQ), the CPC chorus will sing excerpts from Brubeck's The Light in the Wilderness (1968) and To Hope! A Celebration (1980), and a song based on the Langston Hughes poem Hold Fast to Dreams (1998). Two of Eric Mintel's works will also be featured.
