Cold Weather Shelter 2012 Audrey Robbins Humanitarian Volunteer Team of the Year

Anna Katz of Grassroots, representing the Volunteer Team of the Year, Cold Weather Shelter (CWS), receives their Audrey Robbins Humanitarian Award for Volunteer Team of the Year. The Cold Weather Shelter provide winter food and shelter to homeless men, women and children in Howard County. Volunteer teams last year involved 16 congregations, over 18 weeks and over the past nine years have involved 23 different congregations. The Association of Community Services presented the 2012 Audrey Robbins Humanitarian Awards June 20. The awards, now in their 37th year, honor those who go beyond all expectations in their service to the Howard County community.
