The ideas you present to combat obesity are interesting. In addition to the aspects of the obesity issue you covered during your discussion, I would recommend that you and your interested listeners read "The End of Overeating" by David Kessler. The Washington Post did an interesting article on Kessler (link provided below) which gives an overview of his background, research, and findings.
