 ST!\nJoin makingCHANGE and Junior Achievement of Central Maryland for 
 Y-Fi, a Youth Finance event, on Saturday, January 28, 2012,  from 10
 :00 am – 2:00 pm at Howard Community College.  \nThis free activ
 ity is designed for youth ages 12-18 and their parents or guardians. 
  Drop in for a 60-90 minute, “real life” simulation of financial 
 planning, goal setting and decision making experiences.\nDuring this i
 nteractive event, students will:\n·         Receive a career, fi
 nd out how much the job pays, and stretch their paychecks to cover all
  of their expenses.\n·         Go “shopping” and stick t
 o a budget as they make choices on transportation, housing, utilities,
  food, clothing and much, much more!\n·         Watch out fo
 r an “Unlucky Chance” card which could wreak havoc on their monthl
 y budget.\nYounger students will gain an appreciation of the tough fin
 ancial choices adults have to make each day. Older students will learn
  how career, education and spending choices can have a direct impact o
 n their success. Families will learn how to support each other in maki
