Event Description

We celebrate the publication of each issue with a reading that is free and open to the public. Light refreshments are served after the reading, when audience members have an opportunity to talk with the presenters.

The reading marking the launch of the Winter 2011 Water Issue will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, January 30, at Oliver’s Carriage House, 5410 Leaf Treader Way, Columbia, MD.

Shirley Brewer, Danuta Hinc, Naomi Thiers, Fonda Bell Miller, Prince Mensah, Danielle Sinclitico, Gregory Luce, Fred Foote, Matt Westbrook, Nan Fry, Katherine Cottle, Susan Thornton Hobby, Ann Bracken and Wes Ward will read their pieces. A leading contemporary artist, Greg Mort, will also speak about his art and environment. Mort’s art, along with an interview, is included in the Water Issue.
