Latino Health Fair

Howard County General Hospital: A Member of Johns Hopkins Medicine presents the fifth Latino Health Fair, co-sponsored by Priority Partners, St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, the Howard County Health Department and Alianza de la Comunidad.

Johns Hopkins physicians will present discussions in Spanish on the following topics:
12:30 p.m. – “Keeping your Children Healthy”
1:30 p.m. – “Understanding and Controlling Diabetes”
2:30 p.m. – “How to Recognize and Treat a Stroke”

Additionally, the following screenings/information will be offered:
• Blood pressure screening
• Cardiac risk information
• Colorectal cancer screening
• Skin analyzer screening
• Glucose and cholesterol screening
• Stroke awareness education
• Dental screening for children
• Clinical breast exam
• HIV testing
