Howard County General Offers H1N1 Vaccine Clinics

Howard County General Hospital: A Member of Johns Hopkins Medicine (HCGH) is holding three Community H1N1 Vaccine Clinics at the Wellness Center at 10710 Charter Drive, Suite 100 during the following dates and times:

Saturday, Jan. 30, 9 a.m.-noon – all ages
Saturday, Feb. 27, 9 a.m.-noon – all ages
Saturday, Mar. 27, 9 a.m.-noon – aged 9 or older; ages 3-9 for second doses only.

Children younger than 9 years of age must get two doses, 28 days apart. HCGH does not have vaccine for children under 3 years of age. Additionally, children ages 3-4 years old can only get the nasal form of the vaccine.

Vaccines cost $10 each and payment may be made by cash, check or charge. Registration is preferred but not required. For information, please contact the HCGH Wellness Center at 410-740-7601 or visit www.hcgh.org.
