Howard County Arts Council Grants Award Ceremony and Exhibit Reception

Howard County Arts Council Hosts Award-Winning Evening for the Arts!

On September 24, 2010, The Howard County Arts Council will be hosting its Annual Meeting and FY11 Grant Award Presentation with County Executive Ken Ulman, from 6-8 p.m. at the Howard County Center of the Arts.

Opening remarks will be made by Arts Council President, Susan Porter, followed by the presentation of the Grant Awards by County Executive, Ken Ulman. Local and state public officials and leaders in the arts community will be in attendance to recognize and celebrate Howard County’s commitment to the arts.

The evening will feature the announcement of the FY2011 Howard County Arts Council grant awards totaling $342,302.00 and the reception for the exhibits, “Paint It! Ellicott City” and Urbanscapes”. The Howard County Center for the Arts’ Resident Artists will also have open studios from 7-8 p.m.
