Join the Howard County Poetry and Literature Society for its annual Evening of Irish Music and Poetry on Friday, Feb. 18, 2011, 8 p.m., at the Jim Rouse Theatre for the Performing Arts. Novelist Colm Tóibín, author of The Master and Brooklyn, will read from his work, with a concert of traditional Irish music by the Narrowbacks and step-dancers following.
