CAC Sponsors 2nd Annual North Laurel Community Fair

The North Laurel-Savage Multiservice Center and multiple Howard County nonprofits will team up to present the second annual North Laurel Community Fair.  The Multiservice Center's mission is to provide the North Laurel-Savage communities with access to the services of government and non-profit agencies. 

The event will take place on Saturday, June 4 at the Whiskey Bottom Shopping Center, 9105-1 All Saints Road, Laurel 20723.  Activities will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and are free and open to the public. 

The fair will offer preventive health screenings, including blood pressure and diabetes screenings from Chase Brexton.  The Maryland Food Bank and Priority Partners will provide 6,000 pounds of food to give to families.  Other attractions include healthy eating tips, free family portraits, and face painting.  The Howard County Department of Social Services, FIRN, Legal Aid, Howard County Citizen Services, Success in Style, Community Action Council of Howard County, BGE, and Workforce Development will be on hand.
